It's for 71-73 style Dave..I thought they are the same as 68...maybe not
 
not sure if the are called 3 speed 2 speed variable, 2770380 this might be the correct one
 
I should have what you need in this car we are stripping I can pull it and match it up to what I have in the parts bin. $17.60 shipped I will include the knob. The shaft size is what is different. Also some of the knobs have Wash embossed on them for a electric pump. Does your car have an electric pump? Or a foot pump.? also a picture of the motor would help. Shipping flat rate is $7.60 Is there any other small parts you need that can be thrown in the box to save shipping. Steve

This one I just sold was from a 67 Charger and other than the know and bezel is the same switch for a 67 A-body...
