I have a 71 Duster Twister with a 318 2bbl. I have a 340 4bbl intake that I would like to convert it to. I noticed that after I put the 340 intake on it has an area that is not covering the heads. The center jet on the stock heads has the lower port and an upper half circle port abvoe it. The half cirlce is not covered, is there a gasket that covers it or is this intake useless for this motor.

Any help would be great, I attached 2 photos

I am pretty sure that is an air gap above the exhaust crossover that the gasket covers.

LMAO. That is a cavity for the heat riser crossover port. Been as'd a buillion times, LOL Some aftermarket manifolds don't cover that up neither do some factory ones

That's a storage pocket for to collect every little part you that ever drop....

Don't forget to install the 4bbl throttle cable bracket, the matching 4bbl cable, and the 4bbl KD link-rod.
