Maybe the next one will be a 360 with a similar parts “ootb” philosophy, and a bit more cam…….shoot for 450+.
Then the 360 only has to get to 445.I think this one is .060 over,,,328 cubes .
Tommy

Hopefully thick wall cylinders. All these 318 builds made me go get one from my old place that I had written off years ago. It’s an Oct 1969 casting date, and like the man said, it was running when I took out lol.
As usual looking good !!!
Yeah, I been thinking about that also. Its hotter than 40 hells here, and high humidityLooking at the weather in the concord area for the upcoming week…… wrt dyno testing……… it would be “no bueno” for me.
Doesn't that describe the whole summer in NC?Yeah, I been thinking about that also. Its hotter than 40 hells here, and high humidity
Pretty much!Doesn't that describe the whole summer in NC?

It's so hot here in NC......I saw 2 Beagles giving water bottles to a Rabbit to cool him down so they could run him!![]()
I farted and wasn't sure if I shat myself, or if it was just sweat spraying off my a$$hole.I saw a fire hydrant chasing a dog..

That’s what correction factors are for!Yeah, I been thinking about that also. Its hotter than 40 hells here, and high humidity

I understand you mean peak numbers.I’ll be interested in seeing if the xs274 cam has enough duration, when combined with the AFR heads, to allow the tq curve to hang on long enough to end up with more hp than tq.
My guess is the highest tq/hp numbers will be close to each other.
My half-fast guess? Peak tq at 3500-3800, peak hp at 5600.
