318 Poly Turbo A Body

Thanks , I used to think oil pans were a bit expensive , until I saw first hand how long it takes :)

Over the weekend I pulled the 500 Holley apart and started making it boost ready , it will have to do until I find a single plane 4 BBL manifold ..

Have tried going through the traditional Ported Vac for the BRPV , will see how that works out :)

Working away at the moment one week down three and a half to go , so zero progress :( on the Poly.
Drove nearly 1600klms , approx 1000miles ,
So I took something to get me by , 2 x thermoquads and a recently acquired Weiand 4bbl ,
And my orange boredom reducer :)

I was fortunate to visit Darwin Australia four different times in 1981/82 courtesy of my Air Force and your RAAF. I loved it there - the people, the area and the weather.

Those pics were in Townsville east coast , tomorrow I am heading west 1000 Kim's to Mt Isa (mining Town) .

Believe it or not it's not too messy if you crack it loose and give it 10 mins to drain , but yes it's horrible . :)

Man I love Aussie muscle! Those cars rock. Your work on the oil pan is awesome!!! Can't wait until it's finished. Please post some video's when your done. I want to see some dyno info on this Poly no one ever goes all out with Poly's this should be very interesting to say the least!

It's a crying shame that those weiand "high rise" manifolds aren't in production any more. Used to have one on a poly in a VF hardtop, and it woke it right up. Even with only a very mild cam.

I too like what you're doing with this build. Even a little bit of huff pretty quickly catches up to some stout N/A performance mods.
