318 with 380 crate camshaft

I don't know of anyone having done it before. Is that the big M1 single plane? Based on what I read about on the recommendations for the 380/360 when it first came out, I believe a 318 magnum would probably have to be a minimum of an 11:1 compression race gas engine with a 5000 rpm converter to keep it from being a complete pig. I do know that if it's a street engine there a whole lot better options in the way of camshafts to use, and the intake would be viable with enough converter and gear.
