340 block identification

    I am curious if anyone can tell what this 340 was in originally, the stamp on the block is 9B380456 ? Thanks Ron

    The block was in a '69 model A-Body built at Hamtramck built in about January to April 1969 according to the serial number stamped on the pad.
    It could be a 340 Swinger, GTS, or Barracuda.
    This guy would probably have a better more accurate opinion @Alaskan_TA

    The only 340 cars during the 1969 model year were A-bodies, so that makes it easy.
