I have a Carter 6212s marine carburetor, its numbers indicate that its for an early 70's 340 marine engine. I would like to know if anyone could tell me what cfm this carb is? Also, if this will work on a car. Thanks

Off the bat I'd say that as per the old Carter tech line, the OE carbs were rated at 630 AVS/AFB's.
Though, now that I see the ruler, I'm second guessing myself. I can't remember the butterfly sizes at this moment.
It'll work on a car. No problem.

Marine carbs have no vacuum advance port for the distributor. It looks like a 650 cfm.

Yep, no vacuum advance on a boat; under load even when idling.
6212 have 4 large trottles blades and is rated at 750 cfm
Just 2 bulbs on each housing LOL
