Was last run 25 years ago. 3000 lb 73 dart sport 10.60s. It’s a 340 with the 11 .5 forged TRW pistons. .600 lift roller cam. 273 crank and rods. Kim

Hard to believe they would seal between the ports. You would need to trim the gasket for sure.

Couldn't possibly go that fast with open chamber iron heads, heavy pistons, and old school cam, and not even a stroker crank!

Kidding of course.

Back in late 80's was a 273 dart (67) called the "Darn Dart" engine was 273 .060 over with forged trw's with 550 as solid cam and a set of X heads..little 273 dart would click off 10.70's all day long..was using /6 rods and 6cylinder springs and bars....Rockingham NC....

Nope. /6's had a 7" rod. 273 rods are 6.123
