Was tearing down a motorhome 440 engine I just bought and noticed it wasn't the normal 452 heads I have found on other 3 [440 ] engines I have tore down lately . Do these heads offer any performance benefits over 452 head or are they the same maybe these were for regular fuel .

They are good heads. Bout as good as any of the rest.

I like the 346s better - the intake port "seems" to be a little taller in the throat and bowl areas. I don't think there's any extra power there "as cast", but I find them easier to port to my liking because of it.

Good core.
I bet the engine has a windage tray, double roller timing chain, and rotaters on the valves, and possibly a forged crank. The one a friend of mine bought had all of these additions from the factory.
