Getting ready to install a whiplash cam into my 360. Has J heads with 2.02 valves and will get matching valve springs for the cam. Current engine has the old 273 solid adjustable rockers. Should or could I reuse those without any issue or would I be better off with some stock 360 non adjustable rockers. Also was wondering about using the cheap speed master steel roller rockers. Thanks for the help

Nothing wrong with the OEM 273 rockers if they aren't worn. I would upgrade them by spot facing the top of the rocker and adding a jamb nut. I would not go with the stock stamped rockers. SM rockers have had issues in the past.
Pay attention to the diameter of the spring you use. Anything much bigger than the originals can causer interference issues with the rocker.

Imo, if your complete 273 rocker set up is in good condition, I’d just keep using them.

Hyd lifters will use shorter pushrods than solids(in case you weren’t aware).

Ok what about the speed master steel roller rockers. Also I'm not sure if springs that come with the whiplash cam kit are the same diameter as stock springs.

Fundamentally, I try to stay away from Chinese valvetrain components.

I’ve had good luck with the HS made Mancini rockers on factory SB heads.
