I have for sale, a nice Richmond Gear 4.88 ring and pinion set for the 742 8 ¾ case. The gears were in my 71 340 Demon NHRA stock eliminator car for 2 seasons but only went to a few races. They show good wear patterns on both the thrust and coast side of the gears. I couldn’t see any cracks or any issues by looking at it and they didn’t make any noise when in the car. I change the gears regularly as part of my preventative maintenance program. I’d like to get $100 plus shipping to any US location. They will fit in USPS large flat rate box.
