4 speed hump location

I am converting my 68 Dart to a 4 speed and I would like to make sure I get the hump in the right location. Can you 4 speed owners maybe tell me a measurement from edge of hump to maybe the drivers door or something like that. Thanks

I am not too sure of a measurement for it, but whgen I did mine I had the trans in place with the shifter and just centered the shifter hole. It worked out great. Hope this helps.

Gasman, I can give you numbers off of my 1964 Valiant since the floor is uncovered, but I'm not sure it would be the same as yours. Mike

Thats what I did as well I just wanted to confirm before I weld permanently. Thanks Mike but I believe it would be different measurements.
