I’m looking at a 72 Duster with this 4 speed shifter handle. Pretty short but the knob doesn’t look correct either. Can anyone ID?

Thanks.

That's a Hurst Super Shifter. An early one before they added the reverse lockout. Nice shifter, but yes, aftermarket.

I second that!
It is a POS and I feel sorry for you so I will give you a hundred and pay for the shipping to me.

Would also like to see the linkage and tail housing mount.

Sic sic sic.

This should have Ram Rod linkage and be inline,.
Never have seen one mounted to the floor.
I bet you have it mounted on the Competition plus mount with the competition plus rods.

or it is a Super comp arm and ball.

I would love to have that ball for my cheby. Please don't throw rocks.

If I can get that car in my garage, I’ll definitely swap it out. Either for the correct original or an early 70s B Body pistol grip.

My 72 Duster 340 had this shifter in it when I bought it in 75. Great shifter for my driving style. Finding a shifter ball in good condition is very difficult these days.
