I found a solution to the trans line dilemma for the 42RH and 46RH transmissions in these cars. You can either run braded line all the way, or bend your own out of 3/8" steel hard line. What if you dont want to do either, or are not that good with bending your own lines, then the solution is pretty simple. 1999 Ram V8 B350 church bus. If I had to guess, this line set probably goes from 1998-2002 end of ram van production. The earlier year vans, one of the lines makes a hard 90° right turn under the harmonic balancer. The 99 van I got em from the one makes a couple small bends at the front which I was able to carefully tweak straight with wood blocks in my bench vise. Also the rear line damn near drops into place, but the FWD line needs a bit of tweaking at the transmission connection to fit. I am planning on running a Derale trans cooler thermostat, and Derale external cooler with AN-6 fittings. I even got the dandy trans cooler line mounting brackets. They were so covered in oil and dirt crust that the cad plating is almost like new on them lol. Heres pix. Hope this helps.
