5.2 Magnum rearmost bearing cap ?

I'm doing the rear main seal. When I seat the cap and torque it down to 85 ft lbs, there is a small gap, say 1-2mm between the rearmost portion of the cap and the block. Mainly observable at the round area where the pan gasket rides. When I pull the cap, the anaerobic sealant is smashed completely on both sides of the cap, so I assume the cap is fully seated.

Is this something to worry about or will sealant take care of it? It appears machining to the cap would fix it. Anyone seen this before?
