63 convertor question

Buying a convertor off a 63 push button 904. It has the 1.50 pilot and hub but it has 27 splined input, counting the teeth down inside the hub. How's that possible? Does anyone have a pre 68 904 trans that actually has an 18 spline input shaft or convertor that can take a pic and post?

I have a 67 trans that I changed over to a 68 up for better converter selection. I kept the input shaft and the converter so I can get some pics for you tomorrow if someone doesn't beat me to the punch.

Im an idiot. I was looking at the top splines. The bottom one's are the money....18!
And I was able to flush out that funk in there.

LOL!!, No, an idiot would keep looking at it and asking where One could get an adapter to go from 18 to 27 splines........ !!
