63 Dodge Dart, now let me see;)

I can't get any more caster without sacrificing camber going negative. Just need to set Toe soon.
I'd go for a litle bit negative camber when sitting at factory ride height. (Sometmes no longer refered to as negative, butI mean top of the tires closer than the bottom) Then as much caster as you can get with both sides as even as you can get. Recheck camber. Then yes, toe last as it is the most sensitive to change by the other two.

The modern radial tires tend like more negative camber than the bias plies of the early 60s. Try - 1/2 to -1 camber and see how tire wear is. For competition tires the manufactures will have recommendations for camber but less common for street tires.

We did take the Super Six Dart for a little ride, but the trunk lid was rattling so much I thought the car was falling apart, but did run very well. I had bought the rear decklid seal from Ray, and now I've installed it.

I took lose the seats to work under the dash, and started looking at a rear bucket seat in the back? Not this seat, maybe a low back seat. just a thought

This is where I've been for the last couple hours, trifocals are driving me nuts!!! needed to run a smaller vent hose to the drivers vent, and a lot of tidying up. Amazes me how tools disappear on that aluminum backed insulation!!!! grrrr

I installed the fresh air intake, what's the thoughts on this? Maybe a better looking hose, or just not at all?:realcrazy:

I like the air intake.. and also the silver radiator... you need something in there that isn't green or black....

I know red doesn't go with the scheme of things. I'm not done with the Air cleaner, probably going back to black on it so the super six decal will look better. hm, maybe I can find a vent hose which isn't black? and I need to do something with the valve cover

Anxious to hear how pulling the gears of the std. ratio 4 speed went behind the super six?
(and with the rear gears)

Perfect mix of good ratios, equally dividing up the power of the 6 ???

1, 2, 3, 4 > No Lags, no big stretch between gears, just the way it should be.

That's kind of neat, but I have found that Red doesn't go with Sage green, but I do like that. I think my air cleaner is the biggest eye sore. Just need to do something with it. And of course the valve cover needs attention, but I can get to this stuff in a few weeks, just working on the interior, running, etc.

If you're not thrilled with the black ribbed cold air hose, how would a sheet metal tube painted body color look? Maybe like a length of vent pipe that you can buy at Lowes or Home Depot and cut to length. Paint it green and then use a short section of that black hose for the elbow and to provide flex. Glad you got to go for a ride!

The hose looks like something off a 79 Dodge Aspen!!! or Lil Red Express Truck?? I would lose it and maybe go with a slant1 or 2 bbl tunnel ram!!!! with a blower??? Just kidding about the blower! :BangHead:

I guess this is the correct super six air cleaner. Just having a difficult time pushing the buy it button  I do have mixed emotions about the air cleaner I have and the vacuum cleaner hose

I' guess the only difference is the length of the snorkel over what you have? Me, being "frugal", I would keep what you have and buy the decal or if you want to spend more, the pie pan. When I was looking at that FeeBay ad, I saw there a couple of the early small slant six air cleaners for such silly prices. Last time I ad some on here for want $25-50 No lookers!!! :BangHead:

I guess I can say, I've done a road test, a lot of hot air getting in but my AC is putting out 40 degree air;) I need screw down the shifter hump and definitley need a shifter boot for the bezel. Anyway, got up to 50mph, feels good, holds the line, steering is tight. I guess I can go ahead and order the carpet. I do wish my Mopar rocker panel decal would get here:(

I was talking with Glen (I never can remember his user name) yesterday~ we spoke about an electric fan vs the 5 blade fan on it now. It's really loud, the manual fan. So, I think I'd like to accomplish that, but the ones I've been loooking at, it would need to stay on when the AC is on, and when the AC is off, just needs to cycle with the temp. I'd like to do this pretty soon.

Kids will be getting here soon for the weekend and the following weekend, so time to do house chores~ I'd rather be in my garage

It's a 7 (thought it was a 5 blade) blade solid steel fan, factory, heavy

I was given until 4:00, so I squeezed in a little bit, I had some left over padding, hopefully to muffle noise along with the other crappy stuff I laid down.
then just a pic with the super six sticker(not attached), then the fan. I worked hard making that fan shroud too.
Gary's eyeing me, better clean up before the kids get here.
I'll be back

Carpet ordered

So what's an alternative to this manual fan (not electric)?

Did I mention I needed a rubber shift boot and its bezel? ;)
