Had a 68 R/T southern car just a little rust on the deck lid that was it. My friend that I sold it to, I gave him a rust free one with the car.Decklids???? Don't mention such to the guy with the 68 Coronet RT...one year lid and they love to rust!!!

Adjustable strut-rods are not meant for changing caster, they're to compensate for variations in component/frame spacing/relationship, when set correctly they should allow the LCA/SR assy. to rise & drop freely w/o any tight spots/binding.I did not know they made them adjustable. But, in order to achieve 3-4 degrees positive caster, the lower control arm would have to be pulled forwardly, thus putting the tire even closer to the fender? correct?

What size tires on the front?oh, it makes perfect sense. A Ford mustang, one can adjust the caster by lengthening/shortening the strut rod. The Dart, I cannot. I'm hoping that in achieving at least 3 degrees caster will move the upper ball joint back, but I seriously doubt that will be enough;)
Nevermind. I see. LOLWent over to where I bought my tires, it's an independently owned tires store (TireLink). Rolando helped me pick out some tires.
I may lower the front end since there's more clearance. I have another set of turntables that I can put under the rear tires so it's level or so. The tires do clear now when turning.
I'm glad I went over, I just thought they would tell me to take a hike, There was no charge either

If I were to lower the front end, would it alter the camber like more positive camber?

! Gary was filming me/the car I had it running and let the clutch out but the car wouldn't go, it would struggle~ then I put it up on the lift and discovered my tether line to keep it from rolling forward when aligning it. What a relief!!
yes, it looks sharp~ just a little guidance from my friends here really helps
that smaller front tyre looks so much better, not '4x4ey' like before, lol. i like a bit of rubber rake on a car
neil.
Lowering the front ride height (using torsion bar adjusters) increases negative camber.Went over to where I bought my tires, it's an independently owned tires store (TireLink). Rolando helped me pick out some tires.

I’ve been lurking… car looks great!!
An early A with the right tire and wheel combo is a beautiful thing!Want to hear something funny! It goes into gear easily, let's out about midway, but I'm not pleased with the brake, so up on the lift it is to bleed the brakes, now it's 95 and that's my sign off time. In the morning we'll get the brakes bled and try again for The Official run through the A.D. Dyes park (soccer and girls softball), a great place to test out car stuff.
The grill is held in by two screws for a glamour shot, don't worry Glen, I'll black out the parts showing soon;)
