Can anyone tell me where the three shims get placed ,you know, which ones go between which arms. Each one is unique and it's been about 4 months since I took it apart to change the reverse arm that had broken. My old feeble mind forgot where they are placed and I can't seem to find any info on this on line or in my 65 MOPAR service manual

No shims between 1-2 and 3-4.
Go to Gearboxvideo on YouTube. Paul Cangiolosi has 4 videos on rebuilding Hurst shifters.
His web site is 5speeds.com

If you email me through our website, I can email you a PDF file with Hurst shifter rebuild instructions.
