Hey guys! I just noticed the member restoration forum, and I figured I'd show you guys what I'm up to. I wish I had pictures of when I got it, but those are long gone. Slant 6 170ci, A903, 3 on the tree. Absolutely no bondo, no evidence of any resprays, but a huge dent in quarter panel along with surface rust spots(AZ car. ) Only trust was in floors, which has been repaired. Licence plate says last registered in 1987. I have rebuilt the engine/transmission/rear end, suspension (except torsion bars). All that is left is paint, interior, and shoes. Going to send all of the latches, headlight buckets, and other misc to get silver cad plated. Polishing original aluminum and chrome trim, as it is all pretty nice (save for a few pieces that are probably too far gone. Going with new weatherstrip (the pieces I can buy, at least), and going to have an upholstery shop do new foam and seat covers. Also still debating on using the centerlines ( came with the car), or finding and restoring a set of hubcaps for the steelies. Also most likely not going to drive it very much, 3 on tree is not something I want to use in town( especially with no 1st synchro...). But I am excited and will update with any pics or interesting things I find on the way. Thanks for reading! Also, let me know if you've seen any 2dr hardtop recently! All the ones I can find are 2dr convertibles or 4dr.
