I need to replace the 2 front brake lines (tube) on my "64 Barracuda, as they are original, and pretty much rusted shut. I've done a dual circuit manual master conversion, and made new m/c, front-rear, and axle lines out of Ni-Cop. I'd be happy not having to make any more, as the stock design will work. What supplier has anyone had good luck with?

Inline tube
They don't show anything less than full kits on their website, but I could always call and ask. My experience with them has been good, bought a set of brake lines once, one piece was an inch too long. Called them, they sent me one per my measurements for free.

Yep, just finished looking at that. Shows "out of stock", but I can email him tomorrow and see what he can come up with. I can bend up some new lines, but buying a pair would be SO much easier...

Give Inline tube a call I had to mix and match some lines on my 66 and they took quick care of me. I went full stainless.

My general experience with Dr Diff is that the customer service is excellent, but that the part quality and qc is sub par.

Though I don’t have specific experiences with his brake lines

i can't remember having an issue with anything I've bought from him, but I agree 100% on the quality of customer service. That's why he's on my short list of "Who do I want to give my money to..."

I did the full stainless set from inline tube. If the fronts have an issue, it's likely the rear line does too...

$180 for peace of mind that I don't have to pump the pedal to stop was worth it to me.

Well, Inline Tube only sells full sets, Right Stuff/RPUI has a 3-piece kit (but that's all the tech/salesman could tell me about it, and I've no idea of their quality), and I'm wating for a reply from Cass. Guess we'll see.

I replaced my brake lines with stainless straight lines from Inline Tube. When I had my car repainted I stripped it down and removed the front brake lines and because I installed Dougs Headers i had to reposition the proportioning valve I mounted in the left front frame rail. I was going to replace the lines from the m/c to the proportioning valve with stainless, but forming flairs with stainless tubing and bending it is difficult due to the hardness of stainless. I decided to use regular steel lines and polish them with steel wool for the stainless look. I use silicone brake fluid, so rust is not an issue. Let's not get into a DOT 3 vs 5 discussion, please.

Agreed, and agreed. I ordered the 3 piece set from Right Stuff (now RPUI) in steel, figuring I'll have to do some refit. Don't even want to try flaring stainless, don't need the "look", and I'll be long gone before they rot out. DOT 5 here as well, regardless.
