Hi everybody, I just finished first piece of hood trim insert for my GT. I created the prototype on Tinkercad online, and downloaded the files to my 3D printer. I printed a few pieces last night and finally dialed in the settings to print the one in the picture. I know it's not an original piece, but if anybody tried to find one in even just good condition, you would understand why I decided to try and make my own. If anyone here would like me to make one for them, I would be happy to do so. Just pay for the stamps to send them where ever, and I will make and send them. I'm just trying to help out anybody looking for these without success. I also can do different colors, if that is what you want. I also have the files to make the little GT that goes in the trunk trim, and will make those free also.

That's a wonderful offer and I'm in for the front GT and the rear piece when you make them. Give me a cost so i can pay you, it's only right. Thank you for doing this, it's something great and who knows where it could take you.

Ditto to what Steve said. I'll definitely buy front and rear GT and you should make something on them. I'd also be interested in one for my 270 - I believe it's the same exact size, just reads 270 instead of GT.

The 270 is slightly different, but I will see if I can make one of those also. If I remember correctly, it is slightly wider and slightly shorter. Here are a couple of first drafts of the rear emblems.

You know if you could replicate a 63/64 tail light lens, you could have a number of takers. I'd be one for sure.

As far as cost goes, I only use 1.54 meters of filament for the front badge and about a half meter for the rear badge. A roll of filament has about 315 meters on it and the roll only costs me about 18-20 dollars. So the cost for the material for both is about $0.06 ! I'm just having a great time playing around and learning to design things. My payment is helping other people with the same things that I had to deal with. So if you send me a PM with your address, I will send out the pieces that you want. Just let me know what colors. I currently have, sort of silver, black, purple, lime green, red, orange, grey, white, blue, gold, shiny green bronze, copper, and bone white.

Been busy with the 3D printer again! I made a cool air cleaner nut with the GT, and I made some neat wire clips for the ignition wires. If anybody wants any, just drop me a PM and we can work something out. The GT air cleaner nut costs about $1.00 and the wire clips cost about 10 cents to make. If anyone wants any, I will make them, and charge for mailing them, that's IT.
