65 Barracuda Racecar update

Hello everybody, a few months back i stumbled across an old 65 Barracuda drag car in a field in Montana and figured I’d share it with the class and see if anyone knew anything about it. I said I was gonna try and save her somehow. Flash forward to today and she’s titled in my name and as of yesterday out of the hole she was sinking into. This week i’ll be bringing her home.

Gonna patch the cancer spots and clear coat the rest of the paint. Then Im gonna do tube reinforcement to the subframe and drive her. Not sure what else after that just yet

She has a nice 440 in her that Spins free. Has a 727 and an 8 3/4 in her as well. Not gonna change a thing.

Great catch! I know a guy who has a couple of the big back glasses like the one missing on your car, but he is diagonally in the opposite corner of the country from you.
