I'm back with an update and a search for a willing volunteer to help finally get this project out of the hole where dreams go to die. If you want to skip to the actual call for a volunteer, please scroll to the section below the dashed line break.
First, the apology:
I started this project 3(?) years ago fresh out of college without a single clue of how difficult it would be to get these right. I saw plastic pieces and knew CAD 3D printing to an extent where I thought I could get these done no problem. And my own hubris got me. That, combined with my career field of choice leaving me no free time or energy led to me disappearing off the map for months (or years) at a time.
That is not an excuse for everyone I have left hung out to dry on this, and I would like to apologize to anyone who has been waiting for these parts with no clear timeline. I am deeply sorry to have left your project (or parts of it) on hold by my inability to plan and communicate. Anyone who wants to disparage me for this shortcoming has every right to do so.
So, let's finally get these things into existence. I have not been active on the forums for quite some time but I still see the messages for these parts come in every now and then. I really want to see these cars as they were intended to be built, and I need help to do it.

The Plan:
The best way (in my eyes) to get these parts finished is to work in person with somebody who actually owns the correct car - a 1965 Barracuda - and has the correct trim needing attached. I have a handheld 3D scanner, a portable 3D printer, a laptop, and a friend who is also an engineer. It would be relatively short work to spend a few days scanning the areas of interest, printing out prototypes, and test fitting parts until we have a design that works reliably.
All I need is someone with a 1965 Barracuda in the Midwest who can put up with a couple of nerds poking around their car for a day or three. I will come to your location with all the tools needed to finish the job in a weekend, and my friend and I will find a place nearby to stay overnight and operate out of to let the printer run once we leave for the day. I am located in Indianapolis and am willing to drive 4 to 5 ish hours for the trip - sort of a rough radius of St. Louis, Chicago, Milwaukee, Nashville, Detroit, or Cleveland.
I have availability on most weekends after June 7th, all the way up to August. If anyone is interested, please shoot me a message or let me know below!
