Barry,
Glad to hear that you found a buyer. Hopefully they will treat it right and we'll see it in the resto pages here! Dan

If I lived out west I would have bought it, seemed like a great deal to me. Glad it's going to a good home.

Hello guys. I'm the guy that bought the car off Barry. Went this weekend, paid him, and came home with a 4x8 utility trailer full of parts and also filled up my Venture mini van too. I will be going back to the coast by the end of the month to get the car itself.:toothy10: This car was to solid to pass up and I've never even owned a Mopar in my life. Life long GM guy here but it was just to good of a deal to pass up. I'll be putting the car back together over the winter in hopes of having it on the road for next summers cruising season. Probably end up flat black with a small block/727 combo in it for now.

Regards
Red

Thanks for the welcome Barry and 65Val but just to clarify, as it stands right now I'm still a Chevy guy who bought a Mopar. ;) I like all cars that are cool (and this one is, and will be) and the lines between the big three for me have become kind of blurred. I've had a quite a few cars over the years that would qualify as cool. Sorry, none were Mopars although I came VERY close to picking up a 70 Super Bee in 1982 for a grand. Long story short, the guy that was going to buy my 71 Skylark at the time backed out of the deal at the last second and the 440/727/4:10? geared Bee went to a different buyer. :( The reason I bought this car was for the price, and I can't find a Chevy that I want in one tenth as good of shape for double the price so here I am.

Over the years I've had a nice 65 300 Deluxe Chevelle 2 door post (Grampa's car), a 69 Malibu 2 door HT with a nice 327/T-350 combo, 68 Beaumont 2 door post car, 69 Beaumont 2 door HT, 55 Chevy 2 doorpost, 75 Olds 442, 69 Chevy P/U CST-10 lowered and hot rodded, and a few others I'm probably forgetting about so you can see where my roots are. ;) As much of a GM guy that I am, I'm looking to participate in the forums here and learn a few things about Mopars. Barry's been trying to school me for the last week or so and I've been picking it up. Expect to see some pics from me asking what the hell is this, and where does it go.:-D

P.S. Any closet Chevy guys here that need info might want to check out the site I help run. Chevytalk.com or org, either addy will work. If this is out of line with the rules here please deleat my P.S.
