What a cool Mopar hot rod!
Well isn't that just a bucket of awesome. Keep up the good work.
THANKS I NEED THAT
Awesome job man!
how did the weather stripping issue work out ?& did you have to change the glass?
I'm still working on getting all the weatherstrip the hardest one are the one for the rear of the rear quarter glass so far no one reproduces it I did find the right side inner in nos and once I get that one I'm going to see if I can find something that will work as a substitute
Do it! That would be sweet. lol
I finally got back out in the garage today for a little while. I finished welding in the inner panel so the right side is welded in now all I have to do is grind down the inner welds. I also removed the B-pillar from the drivers side and welded the spot weld holes and the rear door latch mounting holes. Along with the body side molding holes in the rear quarter panel. Hopefully next week I'll get the door hung.
Keep it coming
I was planning on getting the drivers door hung this week end but that didn't happen instead I spent 12 hours replacing the evaporator and heater core in my 05 Magnum the engineers at Mercedes sure didn't think there cars would last this long because you have to disassemble the dash and most of the engine side of the fire wall to get the heater & A/C unit out
Stopped by for a wagon update and got a horror story lol My evap has a leak. Been adding a refrigerant occasionally to keep it alive - avoiding this mess! Looking forward to more on the other wagon...
My evaporator just took a dump on one of our 100 degree days so I just couldn't put it off The car does have 241000 miles on it but I just did a lot of work to it in July and this happens It's really starting to cut into the Wagon fun but hopefully by next week I will have the door hung and be moving on I really wanted have all the parts off the 63 and have it out of the way so I have room for disassembly and starting on the really body work
Nice work and will look good when finished. Makes me think it would be a nice change for my wagon.
bringing it back from the dead for an update
Sorry Guy's no up dates I was in Japan for awhile and then I started doing the automatic to Tremec 5 speed in the 67 Barracuda which is getting there. I have had the Tremec for 3 years and not done anything with it. Once the 67 is backup and running I'll be back on the 65 Two Door conversion. Don't worry I'LL BE BACK !
Very cool project! Looking forward to following it. Thanks.
they are awesome when finished
Time for an update ???
If the inner welds dont foul anything i,d just run a wire wheel over them to tidy em up and brush on some body sealer/seam sealer whatever you mericans call it, less work more strength, more time for the other side
FKN WOW!!! ;)
