[WANTED] 65 Valiant Station Wagon rear window motor

I'm looking for a motor for the tailgate window in my 65 wagon. I was wondering if there is a subistitute or do I need only the exact motor . Mine barely moves up when I put power to it.

You'll have much better luck sending your motor out for a rebuild than finding a replacement in better condition than yours.

I would inspect everything very closely. Maybe some of the regulator is binding or needs repair or lubricating. You never know. I agree with Dan about sending the motor out if you need to.

Refer to your parts manual for the part number and see if it cross references with any other Dodge/ Ply./ Chrysler- A
-body B-body or C body station wagons. If you don't have one, I forget the name of the website but there is one that will let you download free service manuals for mopars.

2223533- w/strip
2423575- channel(as shown above-not there now)
2584840-motor
i googled all those numbers and appears that neither Len Dawson Deception Pass or Arizona parts have them good luck.

Thank you for all the information, it is a big help. I'm finally getting to my wagon. I've been driving it as a daily driver for over 30 years. Does anyone have a rebuilder that they could recommend somewhere near NY ?
