I have a nice correct 66 for speed console. It had a hole punctured in it which I repaired with a very durable two-part Apoxsee and bodywork the top. I refinished it in the correct silver with black stripes. Chrome is good for a nice driver. Plastec has been re-dyed. Also includes the correct matching console shifter. it is the inland style. Very cool looking. No rods unfortunately. Your parts are located in Bolton Connecticut. I could deliver to Carlisle in July with deposit. Asking $1050 for shipping if necessary.

That is an automatic console base, you should have cut the correct hole in the side of the base before painting, the next owner will have to do it...

If you read the ad, it is a 1966 four-speed Console. It is 100% correct. It will be easy to cut either way. But if somebody with a 66 wants it no need to cut it.
