Sitting at my desk ordering brake parts (and a buncha other stuff). Pretty clearly have 9” brakes, but I’m seeing that there are 9x2 and 9x2.5 brakes. Other than tearing it apart is there anyway to know which I need? Seems odd to have a 1/2” difference.

Also, the ‘67 Valiant dual res MC should bolt right on correct? Then all I should need to do is run different hard-lines to it I think.

Seems to be so many different things

2" or 2 1/2"- the only way to really know is to remove one front and one rear wheel. Dual M/C- I don't see the need as you only have the small 9" brakes, not worth the trouble. I would stick to the original setup.

Not worth the trouble ? I wouldn't put all sorts of time effort, and money into a 53 year old car and drive it with a single master cylinder. There is a good reason the govt mandated that all cars and trucks have dual master cylinders in 1967. When one of those rubber hoses breaks( it happens ) or a wheel cylinder fails ,or a line rusts out or develops a leak because it is rubbing on something it shouldn't be in contact with your pedal goes to the floor and if your out on the road you crash ,with a dual you only lose half yoyr brakes and can stop ! Don't cheap out and get lazy, you'll regret it if it fails and you lose your car or worse.

are you serious? that is some of the stupidest logic I have ever heard. that is one of the first upgrades that should be done to these old cars. one line goes out and No brakes.... dual master one line goes out and you will still have some brakes.
