67 68 69 Barracuda jacks whats the difference
I have 3 different barracuda jacks they are all different
My question is what one is 67 and what one is 69. I know the 68 one it has the date code on it or it not barracuda
The up down lever is different on all three. The 68 one on left has a more rectangle up down lever. also the 68 one has open area just behind the hook.

The one on the right is 69.

Darn if I know which of the other two are 67/68!

One thing for sure is mine will never touch a bumper. Installed as required equipment only and ballast!

the one on the left is a 68 has date code on it B8 So I am think the center one is 67. Hope a 67 person will chime in.

Yeah, I never heard that they were different by year. The differences seem pretty inconsequential. Part numbers might tell the story. The Barracuda and Challenger book gives one part number for all three years, but the text is extremely vague and not really conclusive. It might be talking about the base only.

All of them are still death traps and bumper twisters...

Agree w/ this. I bought a new 383 form S fastback in 1968, the bumper jack was the scariest one I ever used. Had to be very careful or off she`d come !
