Anybody got a pic or diagram of the proper attachment of the upper, front fender corner on a 67 Barracuda? i am referring to the hidden attachment point on the rear of the fender at the top. it has spacers to align the fender. It's in a bad spot. thanx

Not sure what you are asking, each car is different and may use different number and size spacers.
The fender has a stud and there is a nut, I was able to get to it from the back with the door open.
I think the proper access is through the wheel opening with the splash shield off.

It's very similar to those 2 at bottom of dog leg. Shim packs will be trial and error if you didn't save the OEM. Good luck

Thanx all muchly. Big help. Daves pic is the attachment point I'm talking about. Spacers are not the question. The fastener technique is the question. Luckily, I have the splash guard off and Daves pic shows the last attachment I need to make. Is it supposed to be a nut and bolt, a bolt and captive nut or a threaded rod and 2 nuts? I was 70 years old when I took it apart and I'm 75 now. Thought I would remember. Bad mistake. I just don't remember having to use 2 wrenches when I took the fender off at this attachment point. I will "rig" it if I have to. We would be the only souls that know.

I believe mine is just a bottoming stud with the short side of into a weld nut....

Both studs are out of my '68 fenders...

Problem solved. The studs had backed out when I took the fenders off. I found the studs with the bottom nuts stuck on them. Cleaned them up, screwed the studs in, inserted the spacers and put the bottom nuts back on. Thanx everyone.
