Hello all, my dad and I are finally getting around to building a 340 for our 1967 Dart GT and we’re looking into our options for what headers will fit without any modifications and that cost closer to $500 than $1000 - any suggestions and input would be appreciated!

We used Doug's headers on Eddies 69 340 Dart when we put the 340 back in it...

Watch on line for a discount and then pounce...

Whatever you use make sure and look at the routing of the #3 tube. Most bring it toward the back and then down. It is a major pain in the butt to route wires and change plugs on #5 & 7. I would buy the Dougs.

Go with Dougs.

1... They don't loop under the steering linkage, so you won't be replacing them every 2 or 3 years because they get road rash.
2... Ceramic coating looks way better.
3... Autozone has a 20% off sale every couple months, that'll get you down to about $500.
4... No issues with shifter linkage.

Heard good things about TTIs Small Block Step Headers.
Not cheep, but worth it.
Anybody had problems?

Avoid Hooker. A couple of tubes on the driver side go below the steering linage. Smashed flat the first time you pull in driveway.
