My trunk on my 68 Barracuda will not stay open on it's own. I changed the rear trim to the heavier stainless steel variety and the extra weight over the stock aluminum trim is just enough to make the trunk not stay open. I have to prop it open and that's a PITA. Is there a way to adjust the tension on the springs that control the trunk on a 68 fastback? If so, how do you do it?
