68 barracuda map light bulb

So I replaced all light bulbs with led bulbs, Dash, ignition switch, console shifter, trunk, fastback side panels, even the tag light. All work except the map light under glove
box. Tried two different kinds of #67 led with no luck. Put a regular bulb and works fine.
Didn’t have to do anything special except putting red flasher unit for turn signals. Waiting for one for flasher, but don’t think it would effect the map light. What I’m I missing?

Wrong polarity.

An led bulb is polarity sensitive.
 
I had this exact problem In this thread but if you see post #5, it doesnt make a difference if you reverse the bulb due its design.
Ive never figured out a solution to this yet, I still have to go back and test the shell of the socket though, I just got sidetracked with other stuff on the car.
