Looking for part #19-14-38, the bearing insulator for my Cuda floor shift column. Anyone have/ know where I might get one. My steering column is painted and ready to rebuild, but the insulator is torn and I don't want to chance it being an issue later. Any input on parts availability, or just using the torn insulator is welcome.

It shouldn't be a problem to use that. I don't think you will find one new anywhere, but they are the same on all of those columns including column shifted ones.

There is a thread here somewhere about a substitute sealed roller bearing that fits the lower bearing application very well. For less than 10 shipped its worth a look. If you're looking for the upper bearing, I don't know why you wouldn't reinstall what you have. I mean if it doesn't roar when you spin the wheel at the workbench, no problem. I have seen a few that were rusty, balls missing, etc.., but yours looks fine from here.

Yeah, the bearing is fine, I was concerned about the insulator. After rebuilding the column, I found that there is no issue. Everything seems ok, so I'm gonna go with it. Thanks for the input guys, I feel better about using what I have.
