I am building my '68 Dart with a front end (from K-member out) from a '73 Duster. My engine is a 340. The '68 had biscuit style motor mounts. The new one has spool type mounts. From everything I've read, the '73 into '68 K swap is supposed to be a direct swap with no modifications required. So far, that's been true...smooth sailing. I'm now looking down the road to the time when I have to start looking at exhaust systems. I don't have the stock exhaust manifolds; the car had headers when I got it. I am using the stock power steering gear. I'm planning on using the stock starter, although a mini is an option if necessary.
Has anyone done this '73/'68 swap with the 340, and did you have any problems (beyond the usual PIA) fitting headers in with different mounts?

I did that same switch, but had stock 340 exhaust. No issues.

The TTI header I use are the same for 67-72 as 73-76 K-members
