Has anyone ordered replacement bucket seat foam from Classic industries. If so how was the quality of the foam and ease of installation.

Legendary ! my interior was b5 (1969 barracuda) color was spot on fit was great it was my 1st experience doing a interior//headliner/carpet/front rear seats ,although they could have put more fabric in the rear seat ( the fold down needs a little more to wrap it around the lower frame) /visors/seat backs went so well that (for me ) there is no need to go anywhere else to (experiment ) with !!!!!!

I don't need the vinyl seat covers all I need is the seat and back foam, my vinyl is like new. I have called Legendary every other day now for the past week and a half and all I get is a run around. The person I talked to every time I call gives me another persons extension to call, and all I get is their voice mail. I leave them all the info they request and I still haven't heard anything back from them. I have heard some good things about Legendary and not so good things more like horror stories.

I believe classic/legendary /pg/ and yearone sell the same foam kit. the density is good but I am a big guy and I bought some 1/2 and 1 inch thick foam sheets off of ebay to bolster them up some

replace the burlap and felt welting to keep the frame and springs from rubbing through the foam and 40+year old covers !! classic sells it as a "kit"

I bought the foam kits from Classic Industries as they had the best price. Everything I ordered arrived the other day and to my surprise all the boxes had Legendary Interiors written all over them.

We've seen reupholstered seats for sale here with the underlayment ( burlap with wires in cross direction of springs ) omitted. That foam will slowly go through the springs, much like a potato through a slicer.
We know mfgrs never spend a dime for something that isn't needed. There's your sign.
