'69 Cuda disk brake splash shield color?

Anyone have any photos or knowledge of the original color? I believe they were painted black at factory, but not 100% sure

Just a heads-up. I tried to re-galvanize my shields. Looked like crap! Learned that galvanize works good on "new" metal, not on "used". My shields came out very uneven, spotty with strange patterns in the galvanize from years of wear on the road. In the end had to paint over with a similar silver.
