1969 V1H Floral Top Dart Custom.
Per Mod Top registry, is 1 of 25 built. Has running, matching numbers 225 and 904. After sitting 15+yrs, a new fuel tank, carb cleaning, tuneup parts, and master cylinder/wheel cylinder rebuilds made it basically mobile, but not road worthy.
Car is complete, except for incorrect service replacement carb and missing air cleaner. Car needs and deserves a full restoration. Trunk full of various extra trim pieces, glass, heater box and misc. Replaced original rad that leaked but have it. Solid rockers, subframes and torsion xmbr. Needs trunk floor, rear window channels/filler panel, right quarter panel. Trunk floor has rust down in tire well but rest is solid. Quarter was reskinned poorly at some point in its life from an accident, and R extension is a little bent up but could be saved. Upper L quarter ( lower C-pillar area ) has pitting from water held under the vinyl top, but otherwise solid. I envisioned sandblasting and repairing with lead, but could replace upper section or do other repairs since its under where the top would be. R quarter does also, but it'd be replaced anyway so not an issue. Frame rails, trans cross member are solid. Floors are solid, except some front surface rust and a typical golf ball sized hole right under accelerator pedal, so could be repaired rather than replaced. Car is wearing a horrible repaint thats not even close to the original F6 Green '69 only color, probably after the quarter panel reskin decades ago.
Seats complete but need redone, and needs typical headliner, carpet etc. Have an excellent set of black door panels but theyre incorrect for the Custom. All door/rear glass removed but present. Have spare set of driver quality bumpers. New fuel tank, although I used incorrect pickup with a return line, because I envisioned building the car with a 5.7 before realizing it was a V1H car.
Car is mobile to help get on/off a trailer, but not road worthy.
Need car gone ASAP. Like, yesterday. Due to its weirdness and rarity- being one of possibly two Custom V1H cars left ( per Registry), this could be a profitable project, especially in the hands of a DIY resto.
$5500 or best/quickest. Can deliver in Portland OR area or further WA/OR for cost.
Lots more pics but am struggling with phone/ site uploading and invisible galleries...
