local guy has some parts i'm buying says he has a amd windshield gasket ...i know i will need one some day
are the hard top gaskets and the converts
thanks nutz

Get the part # to be sure. My 69 cuda vert had a plastic lockstrip on the bottom and stainless around the rest. I don't know for sure but i would assume the gasket would be unique?

This was just covered recently, the "67" style lock strip along the bottom of a 69 vert gasket. Richard (69bfan) stated the correct part number for the strip and the gasket...

yes but is the gasket the same.....maybe with a different lock strip

The hardtop and convertible windshield gaskets ARE NOT the same, even in 67. All convertibles had the lock strip on the bottom and the hardtop had no lockstrip 68-69 the 67 had lockstrips on all sides...

just looked at amd web sight they offer with or without lock strip for 68/69 dart and cuda
ill see what he has ,sent him part # ht and vert had same windshields
thanks

The actual windshield is the same convertible and hardtop...

Here's pics of 67 lockstrip. Should be same for 69 vert bottom piece.

Ill wait on it then

i know windshields are the same ,its the gaskets that i was looking at ,thanks

The Precision gasket part numbers are for the windshield gaskets, the windshield part numbers use the NAG system. The Precision Rubber Company uses the the the last three or four numbers of the NAG identifier as part of their part numbering system. Sorry for any confusion.

As stated above, the windshields are the same. The gaskets, 690 series, differs in the lower section adjoining the cowl with configurations of the lower lock strip / reveal trim.
