1969dodgedart restoration. I thought I would put a few pictures up on this thread to share with everyone. My original plan was to use as many original parts in this build as I could with the combination/ setup that I wanted to use. Decided to build my own rotisserie aswell .

Slowly moving forward, I should have bought new amd quarters instead I bought some aftermarket ones from a local parts swap and man they were a mess as far as damage, not a great fit and I had to use way too much filler to get them decent.

Damn. Thats a lot of metal work, cant wait to see this car as it progresses. Great build.

You have done a huge amount of work since 6:58 this morning!!!!!!!! You are going to have a basically new car when your done. Keep the pics coming.

Looks great! What did you weld on the front rails?
Safe t cap kit . Slides over top of what's there with some modification. Worked well and served it's purpose by fixing rust issues as well as adding considerable strength due to the gauge of the pieces from safe t cap. Since that 440 rb is going in there.

Gotcha I forgot that they made those. Were the rails rotten or just adding strength to the rails?

Any idea how much weight those caps added? Thinkin about my cuda.

Very cool, thanks for the info. Was the fit pretty good or did they need a lot of massaging?
