[WANTED] 7-1/4" axle 2.93 / 2.94 ring & pinion.

My 1973 Duster has the 7-1/4" axle with 2.76 gears. I want to change them to 2.94s. I'm not sure if it is 2.93 or 2.94.

Are there certain years of 7-1/4" ring and pinions that wouldn't fit in my 1973 axle? Is 1973 a crush collar or shim pack for the pinion bearings?

I had made a post for this back in April but I checked and it "wasn't open for further replies".

I have entire 7 1/4 rear you can have for free out of 72 duster. 99.9% sure it’s 2.94

I'd come get it, except you're 300 miles away. If you can verify it is a 2.94, I'd pay something for you to pull the ring & pinion / differential assembly and ship them. PM me.
