New A-Body glove box coming soon! My cardboard version was destroyed and I didn't want another one. With this you version you have room for the A/C kit behind it and it's strong durable construction means no worries if you have a leaky windshield (don't judge we all have that problem!).

Making a few more tweaks then I'll post for sale soon.

Thanks
Andrew Little

does it fold down so you can get it installed? The later plastic Mopar version folds down by letting upper and lower halves of the side panels to pass each other.

Folds just like the OG plastic one. I'll shoot another video soon!

I would love one of these but for a 65 Valiant? I had hope that 66Dvert was going to make vacuum formed ones but didn’t seem to pan out. I want a plastic one for my car!

With enough demand I'd be interested to make one, but I also don't have a sample to measure from. I did consider a vacuum formed piece as well, but it's a bit more development and processing. This design I can make each day with the machines I have on hand.

I have an original rounded corner paper one in my car now with enough shape to capture. I would loan that to you. Can you interpolate any edges that needs to be better for the capture?

I helped him work on this, as I have a car with the Classic Auto Air kit in it, which requires a shorter glovebox. It fits well now. It's really patterned after the original plastic glove box other than the depth, its about 3/4" shorter than an original box if I remember right.

My honest opinion is it *should* fit any 68-76 car. Supposedly there are holes in different spots on 67 but it might work anyway with some different holes drilled.

I have a prototype one:

You will be able to put this in very easily as it folds in on itself just like the later plastic box, just have to pull the latch catch and if you had a cardboard glove box, you will have to add some sheet metal clips to have something for the screws to bite into.

You won't be disappointed.

What is your feeling about me sending my original molded glove box for my 65 Valiant for 3D duplication? Are you waiting for more interested buyers of this box?

You know I'd like to wait for a bit. Let me get this version out in the market and we'll see how it goes. I want to make sure the idea is well vetted before I jump into other models too quickly.

I can say it does fit 1968 dash. But I had to remove the clove door and hinge to get in.

Nice job, the fit was great and made a nice place to mount my classic auto air controller. I still need to cut out a hole for the light.
