Well since he's my friend I do & I learn a lot from him but at the end of the day I do it my way good or bad.

The only reason I remember him not liking those is I run one on the boat big block. And right after I bought it I remember reading a post of him saying they’re junk and thought well……****. I still used it and have been more thank happy with it
Yeah he doesn't like a skirted block either but I'm a big block guy...that's what I'm given to work with.
Here's a little bit of stuff I did this morning.
(I have been getting up earlier than I normally do to get this project going quicker)
I cut these 3/16 strips, need to bevel 1 edge and trim to fit between the china walls and epoxy them in place. I will put a small line of sealant on the bevel and drop the heads on to them.
They'll be for bolting down the valley plate. (Obviously)
