Looks like an extra clean car to start with, should be nice when complete. You sending it off for a cage or are they doing the suspension?

Cool, hopefully it doesn't get stuck in chassis prison forever. What rear suspension? I actually gave Mike a holley strip dominator with a small block set up i sold him, maybe you got some of my parts lol.

Chassis will be done in 8 to 10 weeks from start time. This guy is a pro who doesn't waste time. That intake may be your old one, I'm sure Mike will know. This car is also going to get a healthy shot of spray!
Almost forgot to answer your susp. question ladder bar.

please keep it the same color

Your wife has a hemi cuda and you are settling for an iron headed LA????

my friend you need to get you some cubic inch and some W heads and turn things up

nice ride for the wife. That Dart looks so clean to start with too.

That is a real nice Dart....
My D50 has 3.79 stroke crank also.

Stock 340 block with mopar billet crank, 6.250 Compstar rods ,JE pistons, 10.9 to 1 comp. .255/.266 @.050 custom solid roller
and Indy 360-2 heads. Made 662 hp on dyno with a ProSystems 1050 on 93 octane gas. I have been running it with a untuned 950. So far it has run a 6.29@109 with a 1.33 60 ft. Truck weighs 2950,has home made caltracks,315/60 Drag Radials ,runs on pump gas and drove 40 miles round trip to track when I ran the 6.29. I have the 1050 on it now and tried it one time and it would not hook at all.

good luck on your build, I cant believe your gonna cut up a car that SWEET to make a race car out of.......did I mention that thing is SWEET? anyhow, get it going!

That's flying pretty good, thanks for the info.

Ok, the Dart left on Sunday to go to chasis prison. This project is ramping up quicker and wilder than expected due to peer pressure and beer! The car will be getting a 7.50 build done to it, so the small block will be a nice start to get me seat time again. Then things will either get Turbo'd or big blocked in the future. I ordered one of Denny's k-frames for it yesterday. I will post pictures as soon as I can.
