72 Duster 340 Pistol Grip Linkage

Hi all. Just purchased a 72 Duster with the factory 340 and the A833 4 speed transmission. The previous owner converted the shifter to the pistol grip shifter. I believe it was done correctly but to do some troubleshooting i'm trying to familiarize myself with this modification.

If i were going to start over and do a fresh install of this pistol grip, what parts and linkages would i use with the A833?

I don't know what it's called but here are a couple of pictures.

Thé shifter, linkage etc are all the same. Just have to use 1971-74 B body bench seat pistol grip handle. Also use corresponding boot.

The one in your picture is the 71-74 B-body bench handle.
You have got the set up that works best in a A-body, as philcollins noted above.

No, it didn't. It came in from Arizona. It's the best looking Duster i've ever seen. The previous owner did a spectacular job on this vehicle.
