Have a UCC (Ultimate Converter Concepts) 9 1/2" Converter for 727 TorqueFlite. Was built for a Street/ Strip application, but my car really is not driven on the street and needed more stall. Pulled after 2 passes, sent back to Montgomery, and he went through completely. Basically a New Converter. $400 plus UPS charge. In Tyler, Tx 75703

I tried looking it up and couldn't find out anything. If I knew for sure it would work with my 70' 340 with a 727 I'd be very interested in buying it.

As far as I can tell, there is no problem using a big block 727 converter in a small block 727. The cast crank motors converter used external weights to balance, so that would be one exception and then the later 70's 727 had a lock up converter. Those seem to be the only exceptions.

Oh, there might be a little less stall behind the small block because of the torque difference.

Thanks, My 70' 340 is a forged crank and neutral balanced if your Hemi is the same, I'd be happy to buy it. If you want to talk more about it and possibly exchange info you can PM me or I can PM you.
Thanks Jeff.
