727 converter issues.

Well the transmission looks perfect inside! No pump damage just the busching has a little wear, im changing the busching and sealing rings/gasket and getting a new converter.

Smart move. The video of the converter showed far too much endplay.
Don't forget to change the pump seal and the pump to case seal( the big rubber ring around the pump).

Just a quick idea, lay it flat on a good surface and make sure it is flat. If it is bent trash it.

Well changed converter and pump busching, went to go loosen the rear band jam nut and with very light torque snap! Lucky i hoard transmission parts! All back together now and working great.
Oh yeah clicking sound is my cheap *** oil gauge. The pump busching was tore up a little i think the t.ci. snout was not centered when they welded it.
