I couldn't find after searching for info. Any one have a good web page that lists this info? I have a SB 727 that was behind a 71 340. Not sure if it is original or not. Number is pk3681862 4483 7158

1974: 3681862 3681053 318/360 727 Std.

From this book.

Lefty, unfortunately, the books said it is standard so typical three friction clutch retainer and three pinion planet carriers i would bet. .

"318/360 727 Std."

Lefty, I found data from 1960 till they ended. I have found a mistake on one number and one I could not find but the book has been pretty accurate, as far as factory numbers that I had access to, go. Thank you too by the way, for your support. (Wasn't this slogan from a Cranberry Ad? Or was it Idaho potatoes?) :)

Glad you brought that up. The MyMopar Trans ID guide says HD, and I know it's used frequently here and elsewhere. Does anybody know the true source of that literature tho?? And Tom, does your book reference Torquflites earlier than 1965?? If so, I'm grabbing a copy. :thumbsup:Thx, Lefty71
