Hello all, Im new to the site, lots of great info here and a lot of great cars too! I hope mine will turn out as nice. First on the agenda for my project is to round up a rear end. Im thinking 8 3/4 to replace the existing 7 1/4. Any one know where I can find one cheap?(low budget) Thanks for checking my post, I look foward to hearing from you.8)

Welcome! Moulin Rouge is what Mopar called the color if it was on a Plymouth. Same color different name. Chuck
Welcome to the site buddy! 8 3/4 rears come up for sale ever so often on this site. But the A-body ones get kind of expensive. So another alternative is to use a 67-72 B-body 8 3/4 rear, all you have to do is move the spring perches inboard 1/2" each side, and get a different backspace wheel...I THINK some people were able to use the same wheels they had if they were already big bolt pattern...Not sure...

Welcome....you would be better off finding an 8 1/4" and keep the large brakes and wheel bolt pattern....Good Luck!
